Our story dates back to the early 70s when, in our workshop at 4 Wiślna Street in Krakow, we started to create lamps that combined brass with glass and ceramics. Described as miniature works of art, they quickly gained the recognition of customers not only from Kraków but from all over Poland. They decorate the library of the Pedagogical University of Krakow and the head office of the PKO S.A. bank on the Main Square to this day.
Révolte was born out of a passion for unique objects and a family tradition of making them by hand. We believe that beautiful things should surround us throughout our lives, create the atmosphere of a place and bring joy. Handmade with attention to every detail, they become unique companions to everyday life.
Révolte is a protest against the dullness of predictable reality. It’s the surreal world of the imagination, where objects often acquire an extraordinary character. Candles and classical porcelain plates become unique thanks to a provocative aesthetic that is nevertheless filled with warmth and charm.
When designing, we tell history and interpret timeless classics anew, combining them with unfettered imagination, humour, and metaphor. The resulting style draws us into a game of associations.
Continuing our family tradition, we work with the best Polish producers of porcelain, small manufacturers and indigenous craftsmen. All of our products are made in Poland.
